Respawn Entertainment Adjust Map Rotation in APEX Legends

Just a week since the introduction of Map Rotation to the game, the developers of APEX Legends have made the first adjustments to the system: the night-time version of Kings Canyon was removed, while the up time for the regular Kings Canyon was reduced.

The changes were made in response to the community feedback – a large number of the Battle Pass challenges were map-specific and tied to Worlds Edge. Since last week, the ranked mode is played on Kings Canyon, which made it significantly harder to complete the challenges and to level the pass. Besides that, the players wanted more chances to explore Bloodhound’s Trials, a new location added to Worlds Edge.

Last week Respawn Entertainment released a major update for APEX Legends, which, aside from the map rotation, added a permanent duo mode to the game, launched an in-game event The Old Ways, adjusted balance of several heroes and weapons, and more.
