Hearthstone Outland Inn-vitational with $100,000 at Stake Announced
Blizzard Entertainment have announced a Hearthstone online event Outland Inn-vitational that will feature 20 well-known community members competing for a $100,000 prize pool.
The competition will take place on April 21st, between 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (UK Time). The participants have been split onto two teams:
- Feisty Fiends: Kripp, Trump, Slysssa, Purple, RDU, BoarControl, Dawn, Tom60229, Masaru, ShtanUdachi
- Salty Satyrs: Brian Kibler, Firebat, RegisKillbin, Thijs, Dog, Flurry, DDaHyoNi, Nayara Sylvestre, Solary, Sinedd92
The tournament will feature four rounds of best-of-three matches, where two teams will play against each other. Each player will play the same class in every match, with the exception of rounds 2 and 4, where one full team will play as the Demon Hunter.
The teams will be awarded two points for each match victory, the winners of the tournament will be determined through the highest amount of scored points. Each player of the winning team will claim $6,500 in prize money, while the members of the lost team will get $3,500. In addition, top three players will get a $1,000 bonus.
The event will be streamed on Hearthstone official channels at Twitch and Youtube. Besides that, each participant of the tournament will also stream the games on their own channels. The players will be able to get up to 2 Ashes of Outland card packs tthrough the Twitch Drops system.
