Virtus.pro and ForZe Qualified for FLASHPOINT 2

The closed qualifier for the second season of FLASHPOINT League has concluded with Virtus.pro and forZe placing first in their groups. These teams have secured their places at the league’s main event, which will be begin next month.

The qualifier featured two GSL groups with best-of-three series. In Group A, Virtus.pro made it all the way through the upper bracket – they defeated AVEZ (2-0), Endpoint (2-1), GODSENT (2-0) and sAw (2-0). Meanwhile, forZe lost to Nexus (1-2) in the very first match of Group A, and later managed to beat Heretics (2-0), North (2-1), Nexus (2-1), HAVU (2-1) and Gambit (2-1).

FLASHPOINT Season 2 is scheduled for November 9th – December 6th. The event will take place in London, UK and feature 12 teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool. The line-up currently also includes Cloud9, c0ntact Gaming, Dignitas, Team Envy, Gen.G Esports, MAD Lions and MIBR. The final three participants will be revealed later.
