The International 10 Prize Pool Exceeds $39M

The prize pool of The International 10 has reached yet another milestone, now exceeding $39,000,000, which is almost $5M above the pool of The International 2019. This is the biggest prize pool in esports history.

The prize pool is accumulated through the sales of Battle Pass, which has been available since June 2nd – so it took 126 days to reach the $39M mark. Earlier Valve extended the active period of the pass until October 9th – if the prize pool will exceed $40M, all Battle Pass owners will receive 10 free levels.

The International 10 was initially planned to be held this August in Stockholm, Sweden, however was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most likely, the event will be held in 2021 in the same city.
