Team Liquid have emerged victorious at ESL One: Cologne 2019 after successfully defeating Team Vitality in the grand finals of the event, claiming $125,000 in prize money and receiving $1,000,000 for winning the second season of Intel Grand Slam.
Team Liquid placed first in Group A, thus starting their way through the single-elimination playoffs bracket in the semifinals, where they defeated Natus Vincere (2-0). In the grand finals Team Liquid lost at Dust II (17:19), but managed to win at Overpass (16:6), Inferno (16:10) and Mirage (16:7).
