Ninjas in Pyjamas: Xizt Benched and Replaced by Dennis
The management of the Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas announced that Richard "Xizt" Landström, who has been a part of NiP’s CS:GO roster since its inception in 2012, has been benched and will be replaced by another prominent Swedish player Dennis "dennis" Edman.
Dennis "dennis" Edman is a 27-years-old player whose career started back in 2008 in the days of Counter-Strike 1.6. Most recently he played for Fnatic (2015-2017) and GODSENT (2017-2018). With Fnatic he emerged victorious at multiple premier CS:GO events, including FACEIT 2015 Stage 3 Finals, ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2, IEM X – World Championship and others. In Ninjas in Pyjamas he will become the new in-game leader of the roster.
The player commented on his transition to the new team:
“I’m very excited to become the new in-game leader for NiP. It has been some time since I lead a team on this level and of this calibre, but I am ready to give it all I have and to play hearts out with my new team. With the new and the old blood in the team and the large organization behind, I’m positive that we can become what NiP once were, a world dominating CS:GO team. I am super excited about the next step in my career as a player!”
