Natus Vincere to Face Heroic in the Upper Bracket Finals of ESL Pro League 12

Both Natus Vincere and Heroic have already secured their places in top-3 at ESL Pro League Season 12: Europe – yesterday in the semifinals they defeated Complexity and BIG respectively, with both series ending with the 2-0 score. Besides that, Astralis eliminated Team Spirit by outplaying them 2-0 in the first round of the lower bracket.

Today on October 2nd we will witness the second round of the lower bracket and the finale of the upper bracket. First, Astralis will try to avenge Complexity (1:00 PM UK time) – earlier they lost to them 0-2 in the group stage, which was the only lost series for the Danish team. Then BIG will face mousesports (4:30 PM) – the teams have not faced each other for a while and should have pretty equal chances to win.

The day will conclude with the upper bracket final between Natus Vincere and Heroic (8:00 PM) – earlier they already faced each other during the group stage, when Na`Vi managed to beat Heroic with the 2-1 score, the game was very close however. Although Na`Vi is generally considered a stronger team, they can be pretty unstable in online events, while Heroic are currently in on the rise and are ranked #2 in the world rating after their victory at ESL One: Cologne 2020.

The European division of ESL Pro League 12 features a $450,000 prize pool and will conclude on October 4th with a best-of-five grand finals with a 1-map advantage for the upper bracket team.
