Blizzard Entertainment have decided to held the upcoming major Hearthstone events online, including Masters Tour Jönköping and Masters Tour Asia-Pacific. The decision was taken due to the restrictive measures associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Masters Tour 2020 Jönköping is scheduled for June 12-14th and will feature a $250,000 prize pool. The event will be played during Central European Time. Masters Tour: Asia-Pacific will be played on July 17-19th during Korea Standard Time, also featuring a $250,000 prize pool.

In their statement Blizzard mentioned that they are hoping to be able to hold Masters Tour Montreal and Masters Tour Madrid offline with live audience. The events are scheduled for September 11-14th and December 11-13th respectively.

Earlier Blizzard also transitioned Overwatch League to online. The other companies, including RIOT Games with League of Legends and Valve with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2, are also either postponing, cancelling or transitioning to online their LAN-events.
