Flash Gaming Will Replace TyLoo at the ELEAGUE Major
Flash Gaming Will Replace TyLoo at the ELEAGUE Major
ELEAGUE officially announced that TyLoo will be replaced by Flash Gaming at their major in Boston.
TyLoo made it to the offline-qualifiers for ELEAGUE Major through Asia Minor Championship. Later the LAN-qualifiers were renamed into The New Challengers and became a part of the main event. Unfortunately, one of the TyLoo’s players – Hansel "BnTet" Ferdinand – failed to get visa to the USA. The team was allowed to participate in the tournament with their previous coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu, which at the time was already signed by Heroic. Although Heroic allowed peacemaker to stand in for his previous team and participate in ELEAGUE Major, he rejected the offer due to the fact that Valve were not going to release his stickers. As a result, TyLoo had to withdraw from the tournament due to a lack of one player. ELEAGUE decided to replace them with a Chinese team Flash Gaming, who placed third at Asia Minor Championship. It is reported that all players of Flash Gaming already have visas and will be able to take part in the tournament. TyLoo’s stickers and graffiti won’t be available for purchase, instead the capsules will drop the stickers of Flash Gaming.
ELEAGUE Major will be held in Boston in January 12-28. The event will feature three stages and 24 teams, that will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
