Three years of CS2: BLAST announced the tournament in Mongolia

BLAST announced a long-term partnership with the Mongolian Cyber Sports Association (MESA). Ulaanbaatar will host the international BLAST Premier Open for the first time in May 2027.

The competition will be held from May 10 to May 23 at the Steppe Arena. 16 teams will participate, LAN format, the prize pool will be $1.25 million. Two spots are reserved for the Asian qualifier.

BLAST’s interest in Mongolia was sparked by the success of The MongolZ, which reached the final of BLAST.tv Austin Major in 2025. Broadcasts of the tournaments attracted more than 5% of the country's population. This is a significant sign of Counter-Strike’s expansion beyond traditional venues.
