EWC on CS2: favorites are in the playoffs

On the Esports World Cup qualifiers on CS2, the first participants of the playoff stage were determined. The main favorites – Liquid and 100 Thieves – passed the group stage without any problems, finishing their series with perfect scores and not giving a single map to their opponents.

The main sensation of the game day was the unexpected defeat of Turkish team Eternal Fire by outsiders NADE. The fall into the lower bracket made the team’s journey considerably more difficult, but Eternal Fire were able to regroup in time, won the subsequent matches and retained their chances of moving to the next round.
