Vitality win StarLadder Budapest Major after beating FaZe in the final

Vitality claimed the StarLadder Budapest Major title after defeating FaZe in the tournament’s grand final. The decisive series ended 3–1, with both teams trading map wins before Vitality confidently closed out the match.

The final began with a loss for Vitality on Nuke, but the team quickly seized control of the series. Victories on Dust2 and Inferno put them ahead, while Overpass proved to be the deciding map, where the champions’ dominance was never in doubt.

This title was a special one for apEX, as the captain secured his fourth Major championship and became the oldest winner in the history of Majors. Overall, this marks Vitality’s third Major title since the organization was founded.

ZywOo was named the tournament’s MVP.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 took place from November 24 to December 14. The total prize pool of the championship was $1.25 million.
