DreamHack Winter 2017: Preview
DreamHack Winter 2017, a major Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, kicks off in just two days at Elmia Exhibition and Convention Centre in Jönköping, Sweden. Eight teams from all over the globe will compete in the ninth and last tournament of the year in the DreamHack Open series for their share of a $100,000 prize pool.
Eight teams will take part in the tournament, six of them were directly invited by the organizers, while the other two had to make it through the regional qualifiers in North America and Europe. The list of competitors looks as follows:

The teams will be placed into two groups of four with GSL format. The first four series will be played in best-of-one format, while the decider match and elimination match will be best-of-three. Top two teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three matches.
