APEX Legends: Aftermarket Update Includes Balance Changes to Pathfinder and Wraith

Respawn Entertainment have released a new major update for APEX Legends. Besides the cross-play support, new in-game game mode and new cosmetic items (see our recent article to learn more), the new update also includes balance changes to some of the characters and weapons. They are listed below:

Legend Changes:

  • Rampart: Increased the rate at which Sheila's bullet spread tightens
  • Bloodhound: Updated Bloodhound’s tactical cooldown while ultimate is active from 6 seconds to 8 seconds.
  • Pathfinder: Grapple cooldown is now based on the distance Pathfinder traveled – from 10s to 35s.
  • Wraith: Updated Wraith’s sprint animation to make her easier to hit.
  • Crypto: Crypto’s Drone can now open loot vaults if Crypto has a key in his inventory.
  • Loba: Increased range of ultimate & passive from 3100 units to 4500 units; Loba now starts the match with her ultimate half charged.

Weapon Changes

  • Devotion: Increasing hipfire spread at a base level and also increasing the spread added while firing.
  • Spitfire: Hipfire spread increased; to compensate, horizontal recoil reduced.
  • Triple Take: Reduced fire rate from 1.4 to 1.3.

On top of the above, the update also includes multiple Quality of Life changes, including an indicator that lets you know if your teammates need an item, performance display option, and anonymous mode. The full list of changes is available on the official website.
