Virtus.pro Open Second CS:GO Roster

Following the successful experience of having two Dota 2 rosters, the Russian organization Virtus.pro has decided to open a youngsters CS:GO team that will also be called VP.Prodigy. The roster consists of young Russian and Ukrainian players, who are mostly new to the scene – the only exception is Vadim "h1glaiN" Tanasiuk, who earlier played for ESPADA.

In the official statement VP’s CEO Sergey Glamazda explained that the good results of their second Dota 2 roster expired them to open a new CS:GO team. According to him, currently there are enough tournaments for two teams to participate in without interfering with each other. However, the first official event for VP.Prodigy has not been revealed yet.

The main roster of Virtus.pro has had a rough season year – they finished 4th at ESL One: Road to Rio and 3rd at WePlay! Clutch Island, thus currently placed 4th in the CIS region, below Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, and Nemiga Gaming. In two weeks they will compete at IEM XV – New York Online.
