Team Secret and Virtus.pro to Play in Semifinals of WePlay Tug of War: Mad Moon

Team Secret and Virtus.pro have secured their places in the semifinals of the ongoing Dota 2 event WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon, while Infamous and Ninjas in Pyjamas were eliminated from the tournament.

Both Team Secret and Virtus.pro placed first in their groups. In Group A Secret outplayed B8 (2-0) and Gambit Esports (2-0), while Virtus.pro defeated Aggressive Mode (2:0) and Nigma (2-1) in Group B.

The group stage will conclude today, on February 20th. In the Group A Decider Match Gambit will face B8 (12:00 PM UK Time), while in the final series of Group B Nigma will play with A.Mode (1:30 PM). Both series will be best-of-one. The results of these games will determine their placements in the quarterfinals.

The playoffs stage will be played on February 20th – 23rd and will feature a double-elimination bracket, where all regular series will be best-of-three, and the grand finals will be best-of-five. The winner of the tournament will receive $130,000 in prize money.
