PUBG Update 5.2 Includes Skill Based Rating and Vikendi Update

Update 5.2 for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been released on the Test Server. The new version introduces a number of new features, including an update for Vikendi, an experimental Skill Based Rating system, auto attachment feature and more. The main additions are listed below:

  • Vikendi Update, which includes improvements to towns Volnova, Peshkova and Trevno, as well as various terrain changes with the goal of making long-range fights more effective. Besides that, the map now has more roads and vehicles.
  • PUBG Labs System, which will allow developers to test their experimental features and get feedback from players.
  • Skill Based Rating is one of the first features tested through PUBG Labs. While playing with skill based rating, the game will evaluate your performance in a game and respectively adjust your rating. It is expected that the system will be live next week.
  • New Item: Spite Trap, which can be deployed to puncture the tires of vehicles.
  • Way Point feature, allowing players to plan their travel path placing multiple points on the map.
  • Auto Attachment feature, which includes three settings each of which can be deactivated: auto equip when picking up an attachment with F key, auto attach when switching to new weapon, and auto equip when picking up attachments with the inventory open.
  • Swimming and Diving balance adjusted, including increase in both swimming and diving speed.
