PUBG to Receive a Team Deathmatch Mode
PUBG Corp. have announced that they are going to add a new game mode – Team Deathmatch – to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The game mode will feature two teams of eight players fighting on small maps. The main distinctive features of the mode are:
- First person perspective only
- Friendly Fire disabled
- Players respawn 5 seconds after death in safe locations close to their allies
- Health regenerates automatically after not taking damage for 5 seconds; kills and assists fill your boost gauge
- The first team to reach 50 kills wins; alternatively, the team with the highest amount of kills after 10 minutes wins
- 8 different spawn kits (2 AR kits, 2 DMR kits, 2 SR kits, 1 SMG kit, 1 Shotgun kit)
- 7 battlefields based on locations in Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi and Sanhok
- ERANGEL – Stalber, Sosnovka Military Base
- SANHOK – Paradise Resort, Docks
- VIKENDI – Podvosto, Peshkova
- MIRAMAR – Campo Militar
Team Deathmatch will be introduced with Update 6.2 as the first mode of the new Arcade section, which in future will see another game modes. However, the developers stated that their primal focus remains on the Battle Royale mode.
Earlier PUBG Corp. launched the sixth season, which introduced a new map Karakin and a new Survivor Pass.
