MDL Chengdu Major: Fnatic and Fighting PandaS Leave the Competition

As the third day of the playoffs stage of MDL Chengdu Major concludes, two more teams have left the competition – Fnatic and Fighting PandaS shared the 9-12th place with earlier eliminated EHOME and Team Aster.

In the first series of the day Fnatic lost to Invictus Gaming (1-2), while Fighting PandaS were defeated by beastcoast (0-2). Later in the upper bracket TNC Predator outplayed J.Storm (2-0), while Vici Gaming defeated Evil Geniuses (2-1).

The competition will continue on November 22nd with three lower bracket series – Team Liquid vs Alliance (03:00 AM, here and below in UK time), Invictus Gaming vs beastcoast (6:30 AM), and Evil Geniuses vs Liquid/Alliance (10:00 AM).

MDL Chengdu Major is being held by Mars Media in Chengdu, China and will continue until November 24th. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $1,000,000, the teams also compete for 15,000 Pro Circuit Points.
