Invited Players for DreamHack Warcraft 3 Open Anaheim 2020 Revealed

DreamHack have announced eight players that received direct invites to their upcoming WarCraft III: Reforged event that will take place next weekend in Anaheim, United States. Among them are four European players – Marcus "ThorZaIN" Eklöf, Sergey "HawK" Shcherbakov, Dmitry "Happy" Kostin and Andriy "Foggy" Koren.

The other four invites were issued to one American player Victor "Hitman" Lin and three Korean players – Eom "FoCuS" Hyo Sub, Jo "LawLiet" Ju Yeon, Jang "Moon" Jae Ho. The invited players will begin the competition in the third group stage.

DreamHack Wacraft 3 Open Anaheim 2020 is scheduled for February 21st-23rd and will feature a $25,000 prize pool. The event will be split into four stages. The first group stage will feature 32 players competing in eight groups to determine sixteen participants of the second stage. The third group stage will feature eight invited players and eight players from the second stage competing in four groups for eight tickets to the final stage – a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three regular series and best-of-five grand finals.

The event is part of the earlier announced ESL Pro Tour, which includes multiple WarCraft III: Reforged tournaments with a total prize pool of $200,000.
