FaZe Clan Defeat Mousesports in Grand Finals of ECS Season 4

FaZe Clan defeated mousesports in the Grand Finals of the fourth season of Esports Championship Series and secured $250,000 in prize money.

ECS Season 4 featured 8 qualified teams: 4 from Europe (Fnatic, FaZe, mousesports, Astralis) and 4 from North America (Cloud9, OpTic Gaming, Team Liquid, Luminosity Gaming). They were seeded into two groups of four with GSL format, with initial matches being Bo1 and elimination matches being Bo3. Fnatic and mousesports came out on top of Group A, while Astralis and FaZe Clan showed the best results in Group B. These four teams qualified for the playoffs, while the others were eliminated from the tournament.

In the semifinals mousesports defeated Atralis 2-1 (12:16 at Train; 16:7 at Inferno; 9:16 at Nuke), while FaZe Clan outplayed Fnatic 2-0 (16:7 at Overpass; 16:11 at Train). The Grand Finals ended with the 2-1 score in favour of FaZe Clan (14:16 at Nuke; 22:18 at Inferno; 19:17 at Mirage).
