ECS Season 8 Finals with $500,000 at Stake Begins Tomorrow
Esports Championship Series Season 8 – Finals begins tomorrow, on November 28th. The event will take place at Esports Stadium in Arlington, USA and feature eight European and American teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool.
The event will start with a group stage, where the participants will compete in two GSL groups. The opening matches will be best-of-one, while all other series will be best-of-three. The teams have been seeded into the groups as follows, with each group consisting of two EU and two NA teams:

In Group A’s opening matches Evil Geniuses will face AVANGAR while Team Liquid will play with Ninjas in Pyjamas. In the first series of Group B Astralis will compete with Sharks, while mousesports will face MIBR.
The playoffs stage is scheduled for November 30th – December 1st and will feature a 4-teams single-elimination bracket, where all matches will be best-of-three.
