BLAST Pro Series: CS:GO Tournament with Unique Format and $250,000 at Stake!
BLAST Pro Series is a major CS:GO tournament organized by RFRSH Entertainment and PGL. It will be held on November 24-25 in Copenhagen and feature unique format and a $250,000 prize pool.
The tournament’s line-up consists of 6 invited teams:
- Astralis
- FaZe Clan
- G2 Esports
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- North
- SK Gaming
All six teams will be placed in one group, where they will play in a round-robin format with best-of-one matches. Top two teams will advance to the Grand Finals of the tournament, while the other four will play in bonus show matches called BLAST Pro Standoffs. The team that will place third in the group will chose their opponent. Winners of two stand-off matches will get an additional $10,000 in prize money. The Grand Finals will be played in a best-of-three format, with the winner taking home $125,000.
Prize pool distribution:
- 1st place – $125,000
- 2nd place – $50,000
- 3rd place – $25,000
- 4th place – $15,000
- 5th place – $10,000
- 6th place – $5,000
The matches will be played on November 24-25 at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.
